Internationally acclaimed Nigerian filmmaker Tunde Kelani,
popularly known as TK, brings us Dazzling Mirage, the story of a talented,
beautiful young sickle-cell sufferer who overcomes social stigma, prejudice and
her own low self-esteem, to achieve career success, marriage and motherhood.
Dazzling Mirage features an all-star cast including Kemi (Lala) Akindoju, Kunle Afolayan, Yomi
Fash-Lanso, Seun Akindele, Taiwo Ajai Lycett, Bimbo Manuel, Carol King, Khabirat Kafidipe, Bukola Awoyemi among others. The film is an adaptation of
Olayinka Abimbola Egbokhare’s ‘Dazzling Mirage’. Kelani commissioned
award-winning London-based and critically acclaimed Nigerian
screenwriter Ade Solanke to bring this wonderful story to the screen.

I’m intrigued by the writer’s approach to weave a love story with it and that to me, it is an attraction. I have also had personal relationship with sufferers of this ailment and I consider it my responsibility to bring their story to fore.’’

Become a DAZZLER!
As “Dazzling Mirage” is set to hit theaters in a couple of
months, the Director and Producer Tunde Kelani has revealed that the production
is just over halfway through with principal photography and filming. The
dedicated production crew has been hard at work with over 170 slates of filming
to their credit.
There are still many more characters and scenarios to shoot,
which means production of Dazzling Mirage is not even yet on the home
stretch. The finishing funds will be used to complete the remaining 25%
principal photography temporarily suspended and also launch us into
post-production.
