Bio: Hello, everyone! I am one of the founders of IndieGoGo. Welcome to our world where independent happens!

In my pre-IndieGoGo life I was a finance geek covering the entertainment industry - including fun companies like Lions Gate and Pixar. While I like numbers, I love independent film. So I left Wall Street to start a company that would democratize film finance. I then met my two fabulous co-founders: Eric and Slava, and IndieGoGo was born. Though we all do a bit of everything, I focus on finance and customer development.

A few random facts about me: In the wake of 9/11, I co-produced a concert reading of an Arthur Miller play addressing the politically charged topic of racial profiling.

I've also helped sell an NFL football team, jumped out of a plane, and hitch-hiked through Indonesia (not all at the same time:)

We threw a fun party at SXSW to celebrate 6 films that screened at SXSW and bring together leaders in the DIWO (Do-It-With-Others) space. RealTVFilms caught my co-founders and me for a quick interview.

The filmmakers that have had the most success fundraising on IndieGoGo have staged a Call-To-Action email campaign (with their GoGoWidget), reached out to bloggers, and executed a GoGoWidget campaign across the web.
