What makes bakedmindfilms different?
Baked Mind's goal is to produce very high quality, character driven, screenplay driven, films. Special Effects are a tool to help the story teller, not a crutch. If you don't love the characters that are in front of you, you will not care what happens to them in any scenario you create. If the plot is an overdone, nothing new brought to the table yarn, then you are not going to make people remember you for good reason. Baked Mind Films wants to earn a reputation as a Company that is creative, tells well crafted films, entertains, and inspires at times. I want people to go see a film of ours just based on the reputation of our name. I want them to say, oh it's a Baked Mind Film, it's going to be great, even before the trialer starts.. as soon as they see our logo.

| Farrland Films signs on to help in the REAR VIEW arena. Once the film is in the Tank, Farrland Films will take on the challenge of seeking buyers and trying to get a theatrical release for us. They have had a good amount of success getting their own films sold for straight to DVD and Foriegn Buyers, so we are very pleased to have them helping us. Now we just have to get it on Film.. |

DISTORTION IS LIVE! Mindworks Pictures has a Behind the Scenes Webumentary up and live of the making of Distortion. Created to give people an inside look at how a shoe string budget INDIE film is Created, Shot, and distributed.. compared to the big budget Hollywood system does it. It will chronicle the making of the Film with Video, Photos, and a Web Diary of day to day operations, from the Pre-Production, Production, through Post-Production.
