A rising young director, graduate of Edinburgh College of Art under a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation. His thesis short film, a black comedy titled "Talking Piranhas" stole the limelight in international film competitions: starting its festival run with a nomination for a BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award 2010 in Fiction, and ending it with the Golden Panda Award for Most Innovative Film, 2011 Sichuan Film Festival, China.
