How will these funds be used?
The funds raised in this campaign will be used for special effects, post production expenses, and distribution and marketing costs. Shooting is now complete and post production is underway and on schedule. A rough cut has been completed, and post-production special effects are being created.
Circuit enjoyed several fundraising achievements in 2007, including a highly successful art auction and trailer release party. Generous and ample in-kind donations have been received from local rental houses (Boston Camera Rental & Fast Lights in Lowell), local restaurants (JP Licks, Anna’s Taqueria, Toscanini’s and Bella Luna) and local institutions (Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum, New England Institute of Art, Massachusetts College of Art & Design, The Alchemist Restaurant & Bar, PictMedia). Continued and steady support has come from many individual contributions.
It has been the through the copious support of friends, family, and talented industry professionals that Circuit has come this far, we need the help of our supporters to see us through and give Circuit the chance it deserves to be seen by a large audience.
By donating and becoming a part of this project, you are becoming a part of the thriving and growing film industry in Boston.
Your contribution will help Circuit acheive the success it deserves.

What makes Circuit different?
Circuit's original look and feel set it apart from both the typical low-budget film and the standard Hollywood movie. By pushing the usual boundaries of the narrative form, Circuit becomes a fluid, dreamlike space. Utilizing innovative camerawork that follows elaborately choreographed tracking paths, we move with the characters. The viewer then becomes a voyeur that has the ability to travel without boundaries. Performances from the cast are grounded, authentic and real. The sound blends elements of abstraction and the avant-garde with traditional scoring techniques. Circuit was shot using state of the art video equipment (mini-DV adapted with 35mm lenses).
