Why?

I am living in Germany as an expat for more than 4 years and my dream was always to travel as much as possible to discover the country and the history. Even though I did a lot of travel lately – almost 24 places, according to my latest counting – I want to do my travels in a more organized way. Berlin is a great city where always things are taking place and I am proud to live and write in this city, but I feel that I should go out more often and see more.

How?

My plan is to see 100 places in Germany before I celebrate my 5 years in the country (March 2014). I am not looking only about high-end places that anyone would love to see, but I equally want to go in less famous ones but interesting in terms of natural environment and culture.

For Whom?

As an author of guides and of travel blogs and articles, at the end of my experience I want to publish an e-book. My audience is made of other expats, many of them based in Berlin and longing for more slices of German life, and tourists interested to discover Germany by foot, bus, airplane or train. My ‘perfect’ reader does not have a specific age, but is curious, educated and interested to see more beyond the usual tourist guides and presentations.

He or she can have a family and have enough resources to book a good looking hotel for a night or two and enjoy one hour of wellness and pay for a good meal at a Michelin restaurant.
