WHAT MY PROJECT IS ABOUT.

This project consist of two themes: Documentary and Conceptual photography. 

 Documentary - reflects the simple peasant life in rural Moldova and the very special atmosphere in the Moldavian countryside landscape. 

Conceptual - is a series of photographs that reflect certain emotions and moods. Also in this series predominate nude photography. I tried to show more the sensual look and women's femininity.  

Beside exhibition, will be printed a photo book that will contains all photographs from the exhibition, and a series of photos taken in Lithuania, about rural life of this country.  

One of the purpose of the book is to share to people the difference of living and nature beauty of these two countries. Moldova and Lithuania.

The opening will take place at the

House of National Comunities, in Vilnius - Lithuania

ABOUT ME.

I was born on February 22, 1987 in Moldova. I graduated high school "Ciprian Porumbescu" as a drummer. After 12 years of music I went to the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine arts, specialty film directing and editing. In this four years of education, three of them were about photography. Professor of photography was Nicolae Pojoga, a very great teacher and photographer which gave us some wonderful knowledge about photography. I love working with film, therefore all my photographs were taken on medium format 6x6 film.    

Awards:

• — 1s place at the photography contest "Beyond words" organized by the "Punkt" magazine 2009
• — 2d place at the photography contest "The historic center of Chisinau in the vision of young amateur photography" 2011
• — Winner in the category "Fine Art Nude" at 1x Photo Awards 2011

FOR  WHAT  WEE NEED THE MONEY.

• First of all the most of the money will go to prints for exhibitions. This includes  printing, mounting and installation of the work.  

• For printed photo book and postcards 

   

• For purchasing, developing and scanning film.
