About The Film
Historically, metaphysicists around the globe have worked tirelessly to engage and educate people of African and Aborigines descent on why melanin sets them apart from other races. It is a fact that has been buried in science and left out of modern educational studies in an effort to keep Blacks in the dark.
Scientific evidence further indicates that all humans originated in Africa, posing the question “If all life began in Africa, why are people of African descent the targets of such hostile racism and economic disparities all over the world?” Could jealousy be the issue? Is there a deeper truth that has yet to be discovered?
Now “Melanin: The God Particle” goes deeper to explore why this has occurred and how those who possess it can finally unlock what is said to be the source of life’s ultimate enlightenment.
Notable scientists, historians, authors, celebrities and civil rights activists will be interviewed to share statistics and accounts of their own personal struggles for equality here in America, to empower Blacks to tap into the power within.
What We Need & What You Get
The money from this campaign will be used for the production of the film which includes, 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, sound design, graphic design, compositing, archival footage, sound mix, original music composition, masters, sound motion, and editing supervisor. It will also be used for traveling fees and distribution expenses.
Our minimum goal is $50,000. To fully execute this film as intended it will take approximately $150,000.

The Impact
This film is important because this could completely reconstruct the phycological damage that plagues blacks in today's society. This type of information could empower the entire black race. As Aristotle said, " Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom." To know that you are the source of all life is the beginning of the greatest discovery of all which is the discovery of "self". African Americans in this country are only told that their history started from slavery. Every time an African American looks into a history book they see pictures of their ancestors being chained and tortured. Imagine the phycological damage thats being done by seeing these images. Imagine how those images affect the everyday life of the average African American. Nobody in America gets to the root of the problem when it comes to the problems faced in the African American community; and the root of the problem is that blacks do not have knowledge of self, knowledge of their true identity. This film will be an attempt to shed light on a more positive aspect of the black race rather than the usual scrutiny. With every problem there is something that led up to it. Could a hidden history be the reason that these problems exist within the black community? There was a documentary film that was exploring the issue of black people hating their dark skin and how it affected them psychologically. They conducted a psychological experiment where they had a black child look at two pictures. One of the pictures was of a white child and one was of a black child. The gentlemen asked the black child to point out who was prettier and smarter. The black child proceeded to point at the white child and explained she thought that the white child was prettier and smarter because she had white skin. She was never taught the beauty of her own skin. Many black children go through life with that same belief which causes them to feel inferior in this society. This film will be an attempt to restore that confidence.
The only challenge associated with this project is being able to work around the guest speakers schedule, but we are sure we can have to interviews done in a timely manner.
