Campaign over, thanks, and "what now?"
Much gratitude to everyone who helped make this release possible – financially as well as musically!
Production of "400/100" is under way. Basically just need to receive the finished cassettes, print the covers/inserts, as well as handle the digital (download codes, etc.)
Late May/early June is still the prospective approximate release "date." Everyone who selected a perk that included a physical and/or digital copy of the release will receive theirs as soon as they're ready.

Hello!
Long-time/short-time listeners... hey there! Those of you who've just now discovered me... Hi, my name is Christian, and I run a tape label heavily focused on — but not limited to — experimental electronic music.
Metaphysical Circuits is the third major [sic] label I've been almost exclusively single-handedly involved in running; some of you may be more familiar with my work through BSBTA/Workaholics on Holiday!/d'Oorhinge l'Orange Recordings (2000-2010) or A Beard of Snails Records (2006-2014.)
The Project That Needs Funding
After a 15 year run of virtually constant activity, helping nearly a thousand different musical artists get some form of mass exposure, it's high time to undertake my most ambitious project yet, via the Metaphysical Circuits imprint.
Said project, titled "400/100", will be a three-hour, 43 track triple cassette compilation.
An epic, eclectic statement, spanning ambient excursions, techno textures, slick synths, cinematic guitars, song-craft, improvisation, wyrld jamz, and no-fi noise melodies. I so look forward to people hearing it!

Further cementing the logic of the title, and general specialness of this release, is the fact that "400/100" will be the 400th release I'll have been involved in, over all — and the 100th on tape.
What We Need & What You Get
Metaphysical Circuits has never made a profit. As of writing, I barely have the wherewithal to finance this project on my own. Living in Denmark doesn't help, in this case :-) Thus, donations of any amount will help the cause greatly.
Breakdown of expenses
- 100+100+100 pro dubbed tapes, shipped from the U.K. = $450 part funded

100 three-cassette "album cases", shipped from Germany = $100 fully funded
- Shipping of at least 37 packages of free copies to all comp artists = $400
Cover art and other printed parts = between $0 & $25, so not included in the total funding needed – I'll see what I can work out, without compromising quality.

Risks & Challenges
There's always a risk that a campaign like this ends up being nowhere near fully funded — I do need to raise a lot more money that I initially expected, here. Regardless, the physical release will go ahead.
If major problems (production, material, delivery related?) occur, perhaps things will need to be delayed a month or so. You'll be updated, if so. My standards are high, and I'm committed to making this release the milestone it deserves to be.
This is my first time using the crowdfunding model, and only because the project's expenses will be so high. Most of the previous 399 releases I've had a hand in making were paid for out of my own poverty-lined pockets...
