Laura is fighting her second battle with breast cancer. She was first diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in January of 2010. She went through radiation treatement. She had a reprieve and had some time without needing medical treatment and then in March of 2012 it returned and it is attacking her liver and in her bones.

Laura St. Jacques is a mom of 5 kids ages 9-18 and is fighting stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. This is a long term fight and the medical bills are catastrophic.

To add insult to injury on father's day their van was totalled in a a car accident and her daughter was lifeflighted to a nearby hospital. The stress just continues to mount...

Her husband, Robert St. Jacques is a history teacher and the medical insurance is not great with out of pocket expenses in the 10s of thousands.

Two of her young nieces ages 12 and 14, started a campaign to help their Aunt Laura with some overwhelming medical bills. They were able to raise $1,000 with some raffles, a 5k run and carnival.

They have made a dent in the amount needed, but there is still more needed to help this family. The medical bills are a heavy weight on her and her family and it is important that this stress doesn't interfere with her health and her battle through the chemo treatments and her time with her family. You can help make a difference in their lives and bring a little relief and sunshine for them.

Our goal of $25,000 is to help them cover some of these bills and give them some relief to continue the fight. This is the time for all of us to come together to make a difference for a family that is already to the limit.
