This bipolar young boy was shot and killed by Police Officers

My name is Erica Cortese, I work in the healthcare field.

This is important to me because every mother needs peace in the death of her son or daughter. I do not think our police officers who should be protecting us, should be shooting a mentally ill 20 year old because he was holding a gun. 

We are hoping this campaign will raise awareness and make sure that these police officers are held accountable for randomly shooting up a neighborhood for 1 young man with a gun. Maybe to use force but not deadly force. This man was shot by 7 police officers and about 11 shots penetrated his chest to kill him. Also, there were about 20 bullets fired in all. 

Is this how we would want our loved ones to be treated? As a mother of 4 I do not want to have to worry that my very compulsive teens would make a mistake and be shot by a firing squad for it.

We are trying to obtain the the funds for Carmen Baez to bury her son properly and not to have the this nightmare be the last memory of her son.

No matter what the amount I can raise for her here is, Maybe she can find some closure to bury her son with dignity. The police gave him absolutely none as the left his incovered body in the place where he took his last breath for 8 hours. Ask yourself if this happened to you if you would want the same for your child, for a mistake???

Please spread the word of this campaign and please show compassion for this horrible injustice done to this woman who lost her son at the hands of the Rochester Police Force on his 20th birthday. I know I will be.
