THE BAY The Series

Filled with sex, lies, and scandal, the Emmy-nominated THE BAY the Series is an independent continuing drama starring several iconic daytime and primetime television stars. This dramatic series, created by independent film director/producer Gregori J. Martin, follows the life of socialite Sara Garrett (MARY BETH EVANS) and the people around her. THE BAY cast includes various former contract stars from the ABC, NBC and CBS daytime soaps. Cast members also include former stars from popular primetime sit-com and drama series.

With multiple nominations and for the second year in a row, THE BAY received the FANS CHOICE AWARD at the We Love Soaps 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards held February 2012 in New York City. THE BAY has also won multiple times in the We Love Soaps ’Indie Soap of the Week’ poll and was listed in TV Guide Magazine as one of the Top 10 Shows Worth Watching. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced on Wednesday, May 9th the nominees for the 39th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards. The nominations were announced live by Kathy Lee and Hoda on the TODAY SHOW. The Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production. THE BAY was nominated for this prestigious award in Category 71.
