Founded on June 1, 2010, by Eric Devezin, the Foundation delivers assistance in the areas of Education, Healthcare and Social Development.
All of the Foundation’s efforts are geared to resolving the ongoing struggles that teens face every day – poverty, hunger, illiteracy and disease – and to replace these struggles with hope for the future.

The projects that Beauty Within- Teen Esteem, Inc. fund and facilitate are developed so that each teen who benefits is able to reach their fullest potential for personal growth, and to realize their dreams in a healthy environment. To the extent that a child’s social needs are met, that child is likely to develop into a healthy, confident, responsible, productive, competent, independent and a self-controlled adult.

About The Founder Eric Devezin

I am a professional makeup artist in the fashion, film / tv and entertainment industries. I am also the founder and creative director of DEVEZIN COSMETICS -A cosmetic line specifically designed for women and men, like myself, with sensitive skin. After many years working on the world's most beautiful models, actresses, and actors, I've learned what women and men need. Along the way I came up with the idea of Beauty Within Teen Esteem, Inc. Some of my duties include; Identifying the needs that fit the Foundation’s Criteria --Communicate those needs to potential donors -Raise the money to address those needs -Manage the money prudently -Allocate the funds -Work with the project directors to ensure effective use of funds and successful project execution accounting to our donors funding criteria. I especially enjoy working with special needs kids and teens.

What We Need & What You Get

We are aiming to raise $5,000 for our next event & venue, and you can contribute as much as you'd like and as many times as you'd like. Your contributions will go directly into program costs (equipment rentals, location costs, transportation, meals, decoration, gas stipends and speakers fees); as well as post-program costs, ( award scholarships, edit video and stills for distribution and participation). We want to have a great turn out and support as many teens as possible and your contributions will ensure that we will achieve this.

The Impact

Focusing on young children is by far the most brilliant investment that anyone could ever make in the future. Beauty Within - Teen Esteem, Inc. was founded on the premise that the lives of all teens have equal value. An impoverished child in Haiti or a homeless child in the parish of St. Ann, Jamaica is just as precious as the children here in the United States of America and other developed countries.

The Foundation’s goal is to ensure that all children have the opportunity to lead a healthy, productive life.

Whatever you're able to contribute we greatly appreciate it! And if you’re unable to make a financial contribution, you can still greatly help our campaign by spreading the word and sharing the campaign video through Indiegogo's share tools and social media networks i.e. twitter, facebook, tumblr and blogs; and by word of mouth.
