The Cornfield Massacre is a script written by Mario Cerrito III and is based on a true life event. It draws on the fear of wondering "who's behind the mask" at local haunts. In The* Cornfield Massacre the man behind the mask is a psychotic serial killer working at a hayride with plans to create a blood bath. A night of fun with friends and family quickly becomes a night of terror as the killer implements his plan and carves up some fun of his own.

The Cornfield Massacre has received attention from directors, producers, actors, and horror lovers. Director Kenneth John McGregor (X-Men, Cocktail, Exorcist, Friday the 13th), actor Mark Borkowski (Boardwalk Empire, The Perfect Witness, The Cost of a Soul), and Victoria Gates (Our Idiot Brother, Oresteia) are already attached to the project. The producers have expanded the budget and upgraded the special effects. Contributions are needed to finance this expansion. Special donation gifts will be presented to donors. We appreciate your help and so will horror lovers everywhere!

*The Cornfield Massacre is based on a true life event. When hired to work at a local haunted hayride my identity was never checked or verified. I was instructed to start that night and was put in the cornfield to work. While working it struck me; what if one of the workers had more deadly intentions than just "scaring" people? Their masks and props would provide the perfect opportunity to kill innocent victims who trusted that the workers were hired to just act and have fun.
