We’re Health Nuts Media (HNM) and Blausen Medical and together we’re creating awesome videos, games, and apps to change the way people learn about their health. Think of it this way: If HNM is chocolate and Blausen is peanut butter, together we’re making the most amazing, mind-blowing confection of art and science that the world has ever seen! Our first joint project is called “Huff & Puff: The Asthma App.” We need your help to raise $90,000 to create this cool app (the first of many fun health apps to come!) 

Between HNM and Blausen, we’ve already created much of the content that will be featured in this first app, including hours of video, hundreds of illustrations, tons of interactive 3D models, and loads of other cool stuff. 

Health Nuts Media makes complex health issues easy to understand – and fun! – with the combined efforts of its Emmy Award-winning writers, directors, animators, actors and designers with some of the brightest and most tech-savvy doctors, nurses and educators in the world. Blausen Medical creates award-winning 3D animations which combine stunning visual drama with unwavering scientific accuracy. 

The money we raise for this app will go to create this chocolate/peanut butter powerhouse combo for health learning that is actually fun for audiences of all ages.  We will be using lots of our great content and are creating three (3) BRAND NEW GAMES to help people better understand asthma, anatomy, and how to take care of themselves.  

The Blausen Human Atlas HD app provides a lavish 3D visual health concept education experience.  Filled with breathtaking (pun intended) videos, images, and interactive 3D elements, this immersive experience makes learning anatomy fun and easy for people of all ages.   “Huff & Puff: The Asthma App” will include the entire respiratory system subset of Blausen’s Human Body Atlas.
