"The Torture Never Stops, And The Pain Never Ends"
A.K.A., The Unfinished Uncle Jesse and the Rippers Project.
What am I talking about?
Watch the video above and you will see a segment from a crucial "Full House" episode involving Uncle Jesse's musical career. The record company "suits," the "big wigs" dressed him up in a genie outfit and tried to get him to do his music their way, but he decided to "be himself," or whatever, and make the "Forever" music video comprised of his twin sons and a lot of candles. But what I've always wondered is this: What would his music have sounded like if he had kept that genie outfit on and travelled down that road? I think it would have been really bizarre, unique, and awesome. So this record that I've almost finished is what I think it would have sounded like, where he would have gone musically. It's basically a crazy collection of songs, that spans multiple genres, from new age to country, and a lot in between.
What I need:
$700 bucks to finish this beast. I need to record two more songs and then get the album pressed-up. I already have eight songs recorded and ready to go and the album artwork finished, so I'm almost there.
Worth Noting: The Rippers did reassert themselves musically, to a degree, when they picked their guitarist, Viper. (This is another great episode that should be watcher.)
Lastly: Please help me realize this goal. It would really mean a lot to me and it would allow a really unique album to be put out into a world saturated with too much stale music. So do it for the underdog, do it for me, the little boy who dared to dream. Do it for Uncle Jesse. Do it for the Rippers!
