About Th' Damned Crows:

Formed at the foot of the notorious Devil’s Peak in Cape Town, South Africa,
Th’Damned Crows fell together in early 2012 through a mutual love of Rockabilly, Punk Rock and Blues.

Taking cues from the fringes of popular culture of the past 60 years, and
putting a fresh slant on the sounds of the past, the band aims to strip away
all the frills and take Rock’ n’ Roll back to its primitive roots; making music danceable, controversial and fun once again.

Their sound is based around the ‘classic’ Rockabilly format of Guitar, Drums and Double Bass, but with the energy of Punk Rock, the ethics of the Blues and the swampy richness that the Harmonica sound adds.

Even though the band is very much in its infancy, Th’Damned Crows full-length album is being hotly anticipated as being one of the most exciting releases in recent years in a burgeoning South African Rockabilly scene.

The band is also being touted to tour throughout the country and overseas,
taking their African-flavoured Rockabilly to the broader European market
and even farther afield. 

What we need:

We need to come up with $3000 by 13 March 2013 in order to fund our debut album production. We cannot do this alone...

Mixing and Mastering.

Album Artwork.

Licensing.

Reproduction.

Etc.
