Other movies produced by Stalker Films include: "Between the Canals", "Out of Here" and "Stalker": which placed Runner Up Best New Irish Film at the Galway Film Fleadh 2012. "Stalker" was co-written by John Connors, who also played the lead role in the film. His work was described by Irish Times critic, Donald Clarke, as being "first rate".
Social relevance
This film is a deeply personal movie for John Connors who has grown up in Darndale from a young age. Darndale is an area in Dublin that is ravaged by drugs and crime.
We are going to tell a very personal story in a realistic and raw way that highlights the issues faced by people (and very often children) living in areas such as Darndale.
High hopes
Our producers have years of experience in making movies and taking them around the world to film festivals and markets. It is our intention to take "Cardboard Gangsters" to leading film festivals, then try and sell the movie to a distributor in Ireland and overseas. This is no easy feat, but we are confident that the story will have international appeal.
You can now be a part of an artistic endeavour which will bring attention to tough social issues that people face every single day in Darndale and places like that all over Ireland.

We are looking to raise €25,000 on Indiegogo.
