Always be up to date what's happening, whether when there is a blizzard, when you are in the office or when you are traveling.
iTemp makes this possible: It measures the current temperature and shows it in realtime in you phone, whether you are around or not. And no need to run cables around the house or keep a PC on, the battery-powered iTemp sensor sends it's data to a small gateway near your DSL or cable modem and uploads the data to a server, so the data is always and instantly available to track on your phone.

We have developed iPhone and Android apps that show the measured temperatures in real time on your smartphone. Either view one temperature or a bunch.
The final app that will be provided when the products are delivered will have more features, possibly including charting.

About
CloudSensor is an independent electronics development company that develops it's own products and for third-parties. We have more than a decade experience in designing and manufacturing consumer-type electronics and work for small startups as well as large corporations.
iTemp came to live, after two friends independently asked for a way to keep an eye on temperature from the web or their smartphone: One wanted to keep an eye on his greenhouse, the other on the water in his outdoor pool. After some research and testing, the first prototypes were created and soon we realised that that must be more people with similar needs.
Use of Funds
Electronics gateway and sensor node are designed, the app is coming along nicely and a pilot production run was done. Now we need your help to get the iTemp onto the market and in the hands of people. We will use the funds to produce in larger volumes, so the price goes down and hopefully have the iTemp on the shelves of many retail shops.

FAQ
Can I use more than one temperature sensor?
Yes, you can use upto 30 sensors with one gateway. These will all show on your smartphone.
Does it work with iPhone, iPad, Android phone/tablet?
Yes, our apps work on both IOS 3 or higher and Android 2.1 or higher. They work both on tablets and phones.
Does it show Fahrenheit, Celcius, Kelvin?
The app allows you to set the desired quantity, so you can easily adapt to what you like.
How does my smartphone connect to the temperature sensor?
The temperature sensor talks wirelessly to the provided internet gateway. The gateway is connected with an Ethernet cable to your DSL or Cable modem. Your smartphone gets the measured temperatures from our server.
How far can the temperature sensor be removed from the gateway?
We use a so called low-power ISM transceiver, which allows the signal to travel for about 150 feet (50m) depending on environment (walls, floors etc). Since we use a low frequency and low data-rate compared to wifi, the signal goes very well through walls and floors.
What is the battery life of the temperature sensor and what type of battery is used?
We use a standard CR2032 cell, which you can buy at any supermarket. Battery life is about a year and the battery can easily be replaced with a new one.
Is the temperature sensor water-proof?
Yes, but it is not qualified IP67 or something like that. We advice to put the sensor no deeper than 1 foot (30 cm).
