ELIXHER is an award-winning online magazine and blog for Black lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer women. It is your go-to resource for all things empowering, thought-provoking, and pertinent to the Black female queer community and experience. You’ll find news, profiles, local events, political commentary, personal reflections, and more. The site has become a staple for smart, uplifting and authentic content.

The Launch of Our Quarterly Digital Issue.

We’re excited to announce the launch of ELIXHER Magazine. Our spring issue has already confirmed America’s Next Top Model AzMarie Livingston as our cover girl and will feature exclusive interviews and photo shoots with Black queer warrior women like Staceyann Chin.

Expand Our ELIXHER Mixers Nationally.

ELIXHER readers have been demanding monthly events. So far we have hosted successful events in Brooklyn, NY. Our next stop is Washington, DC. With your help, we can expand our presence to cities like Atlanta, Chicago, Oakland and a city near YOU.

Support Overhead Costs.

Web hosting, legal/small business fees, production of promo materials, tech support and ongoing maintenance, advertising and our website redesign come at a hefty price. The money will also go towards compensating our talented writers and hiring a marketing team.

Last year, our friends over at Autostraddle.com raised an impressive $30,000 in one day and went on to raise over $100,000 ($60,000 more than their original goal)! Can we say inspiring?
