50 States of RAPE is a historic crowdfunding campaign for a movie willing to tell America's Dirtiest Secret.

Today we are launching the biggest ever crowd funding campaign to make a documentary about the unspoken truth about rape in America.
Rape is a dirty word in American culture and we want to find out why.
Since we have partnered with a 501c3 nonprofit, From the Heart Productions,
100% of your contribution is tax deductible.
In an unrelenting and powerful narrative, filmmaker Kyle Karges takes on the unspoken and often scoffed at culture of rape in America.
There are no places in America where rape and sexual assault do not exist.
This is the only film of its kind to take on all of rape culture and to show a portrait of how rape is dealt with in America as a whole.
Prior to 50 States of RAPE, every other film on sexual assault and rape only dealt with a small portion of a much larger issue. Not any more! This is the only film courageous enough to show the true reaches of this epidemic and how it affects Americans on a daily basis.
Under the guidance of executive producer Mark Medoff, Mr. Karges dares to take on this monstrous subject. Mr. Medoff is the author of 26 plays and 11 movies, including Clara’s Heart, Off Beat and City of Joy. Mr. Medoff won a Tony Award and nominated for an Academy Award for Children of a Lesser God.
"98% of all rapists will never spend a day in jail!"
- Department of Justice, Felony Defendents in Large Urban Counties: 2009
Nothing is off limits, we want to show an accurate portrait of America and how rape is dealt with—or, more aptly, not dealt with in America.
"100 serial rapists identified after rape kits from Detroit Crime Lab are finally processed"
- DETROIT (WXYZ)
"In 2003, 1 in every ten rape victims were male."
- U.S. Department of Justice. 2003 National Crime Victimization Survey. 2003. That is 50 States of RAPE!
"1 out of every 6 American women has been the victim of an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime."
- National Institute of Justice & Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. Prevalence, Incidence and Consequences of Violence Against Women Survey. 1998. That is 50 States of RAPE!
In 1662, Thomas Bird was whipped for what was termed “adulterous attempts” on Hannah Bumpas and ordered to pay her 10 pounds sterling as a civil penalty. He was sentenced to two whippings. Hannah was also sentenced to a whipping for “not making such resistance as she could,” in other words she didn’t fight back hard enough. Punishing the victim for not fighting back hard enough! TODAY the same thing happens, we crucify them on social media for the world to watch. NO MORE! That is 50 States of RAPE!
So why $2.3 million?
Because this is largest crowdfunding campaign for a documentary ever. And we mean ever! A television movie about Kermit Gosnell raised $2.25 million and we believe this issue is larger and deserves to be shown in movie theaters, not just on television.
As scary as all this may sound this problem is solvable.
Only with your help we can bring victims voices to a movie theater near you. Only with your help can they be heard.
We are going to visit all 50 States and talk to survivors and the people working to help fix this problem.
We have a lot of powerful interviews already lined up, but if you are a survivor of sexual assault or rape, we would like to talk to you. Our goal is to film over 1,000 interviews. Could one of them be you?
Let your voice joins thousands as we stand together and say NO MORE!
Stand up against sexual assault and rape while helping us make history. Let your voice be heard. Please contribute today.
