The Film:
'Camp Death III: The Final Summer' is a 'Friday the 13th' comedy/spoof film. it is written and directed by Matt Frame. This will be his 4th feature film since 2003. His first film, 'Baghdad or Bust' premiered at the Whistler Film Festival and won 'Best Documentary.' It featured at festivals around the world and had a national broadcast on CBC-TV. Matt's films have consistently received great praise and his abilities as a filmmaker continue to grow. 'Camp Death III' promises to be his best yet!
Things We Have:
-The cast is in place and we have an AMAZING group of folks.
-The script is done and it’s a very solid piece of work.
-We have a bucket-load of industry folks (wardrobe, special effects, wranglers) who are volunteering their services outright or giving us a significant discount.
-Location (a summer camp) is on board and excited to host the cast and crew for the duration of the filming in September.
-A very solid track record of completing films of very good quality.
Things We Don’t Have:
-The $5,500 for the camp rental. In addition to acting as the location, the camp will also house and feed us for the duration of the shoot. This price includes the $1,395 transportation costs.
-The $4,700 for additional equipment. To ensure that the film has the best chance of distribution, it is essential for us to film on a 4K formatted camera.
-The $1,990 for practical special effects and/or kill scenes.
-The $1,960 for wardrobe and prop costs.
-The $2,000+ for miscellaneous expenses and insurance.
