& A Shoes - The future producers of "Cannies"
About Us
We are Andro
Mathewson & Andres Canales, two young boys, from international backgrounds,
still in high school in Germany, yet rich with ideas and the motivation and
time to develop and hopefully realize those ideas. We wish to start our own
shoe company for many reasons, mainly to begin anew, secure our future and
maybe one day pay our college tuition fees.
Our Campaign
We both wish to
succeed in life and are attempting it through the development of this idea. My
friend, Andres Canales, told me about his idea as a short story, One day
sitting on the bus, he thought: Why are shoelaces always placed on the upper,
forward part of the shoe? The answer may be simple - for Style and Stability.
Yet he continued, what if one placed the shoelaces on the side and left the
upper space completely empty for design. We decided to follow up on the idea
and tracked down a shoemaker in Munich, Germany. He confirmed that it would be
possible, structurally so we downloaded 3D Design shoe software and created
sketches, designs and different concepts, which you can see in the video, and
as pictures. Then we decided to try an Indiegogo project and
hopefully..."Cannies" would come alive.
Why we need
YOU?
As high school
students we do not have the sufficient funds to support a beginning for our
fresh, new design concept. If you support us financially you will be doing all
of the following:

of a new idea, a new concept, a new reality.

helping two motivated and hard-working boys to succeed in life and gain a fresh start

What we need?
We have
requested $18000, which 100% of go to the development of our project in the
following ways: Purchasing a 3D printer with show making capacity to use modern
technology and raise awareness about 3D printers; Purchasing materials for the
shoes, developing new concepts; contracting a designer for the production of the first batch of
"Cannies"
Furthermore, we have promised each other that if the
idea of “Cannies” develops enough, we will give 5% of all our profit to
charitable organizations for the rest of the existence of “A&A Shoes”.

If it doesn't
reach the goal: all money will be used to develop as far as possible the idea
of "Cannies" and "A&A" Shoes and other sponsors will be
sought.
