Who We Are and Why We're Here!

Richard Griffin (Director/Editor): Has been making award-winning films in his home state of Rhode Island for the past decade with his producing partners Ted Marr and Kristin Kayala.

Since they formed their production company, Scorpio Film Releasing, they've been able to work with some of the best actors and crew people in the New England area to create such cult hits as Murder University, Nun of That, The Disco Exorcist, Exhumed, and the upcoming psychological drama Normal. 

The 14 features Mr. Griffin has directed in the past 10 years have received world-wide distribution on DVD, Redbox, VOD, and Pay Per View, and have acquired rave reviews and awards from film festivals across the globe. 

Lenny Schwartz (Writer): Lenny is the writer / director of such plays as Subject 62, Buster Keaton: Fade to Black, The Wire Game, Higher Methods, and Fidelity, as well as many others.

He is also the screenwriter of Scorpio Film Releasing's film Murder University, which is now available on DVD in national distribution. He is also the writer behind Scorpio's upcoming psychological drama Normal, which will be having its world premiere in January of 2014. 

This Spring Lenny will direct his newest play called "Newcastle" in April 2014.

We would love to continue with our newest film, Accidental Incest. But, we cannot do it without your help!

What We Need & Why

To create the world of Accidental Incest we need the donations to purchase and build props, costumes, sets, and other things that will make for a spectaular movie (on a budget!). After a decade of making 14 features, we have become experts on making a dime look like a dollar, so you can rest assured that every bit of money you donate will be on the screen!

Things like copies of the DVD, tickets to the premiere, autographed copies of the screenplay and poster, exclusive content and more! If you donate $25.00 or more, you'll get a free copy of the movie... so think of it as less of a donation and more of a pre-order!

Those who donate $250.00 or more will get all these goodies, plus an associate producers credit! 

The Impact

If this film gets funded ... and it will, hell or high water ... dozens of actors will get a chance to ply their trade in a movie they can be proud of. The crew will get to show their stuff off as well.... and most of all, in less than six months you'll get to sit at the theater watching the movie... or at home watching your DVD and say, "I helped make that happen."
