What: to create "Yogabatics: Acro Yoga Instructional Video Series". 

Why:  People love acro yoga, but many miss out on it because of two main reasons.  They either see it and are too intimidated to try it, or they try it without proper instruction, bruise a knee and conclude that they are no good at it.

What is Acro Yoga: a phenomena that is helping people to remember how to play as if they were kids again.  It combines yoga, acrobatics, dance, thai massage and pretty much anything else that helps people to connect and play together.  Acro yoga meets deeply felt human needs of connecting with others.  Although it looks like only the strong and flexible can practice acroyoga, it is actually extremely accessible to most anyone.

Progress So Far:  Of the ten 5-8 minute videos we have set out to make, we have fully produced five of them, and their reception so far has been very encouraging to say the least.  We are excited to be able to produce the rest of the project with the help of many like yourself. 

Free: We do not want dollars and cents to get in the way of people benefiting from acro yoga.  From the adventurous teenagers, to parents wanting to play with their children, to the married couple in their 50's looking for a new way to connect, we want this resource to be available to as many as possible.  To this end, the Yogabatics video series will be PERMANENTLY posted in entirety on sites such as Youtube & Vimeo for the free viewing of all.  The need for a series like this is so strong, even now people in other countries are adding translated subtitles to the available videos!

Getting to Know Yogabatics:  You don't need to be told about this awesome video series; you can experience it and try-it-out yourself to learn the immense value of this instructional series!  Each video builds off the previous video, and the first video assumes the viewer has no yoga or acrobatic experience.  Watch the videos in order below and, even better, try it out yourself!

Please Help Us Out If You Want To: Every day in the acro yoga classes we teach, we are reminded of how powerful of a tool acro yoga is to helping people heal, reignite creativity in their lives, and start to truly laugh again.  Connecting with another human is powerful, and acro yoga is one of the things that makes this happen.  Plus it's super-cool and fun!  From the first time the idea of creating an instructional video series came into our heads, we have believed that the collaboration of many will make this possible.  People have freely given their skills, equipment, studio space, video feedback, money and more, and we are HALF WAY THERE!  If you do decide to help us pull this awesomely-fun project into completion then we heartily appreciate it, but either way we hope you grab a friend and try-out acroyoga for yourself! Here's what the $2500 will be going towards roughly: $1500 Video Production, $300 Space Rental, $225 Indiegogo Fees, & $500 DVD Production. 

Questions & Feedback: If you do join us in supporting the completion of Yogabatics then we want to be as accessible to you as possible.  As you consider supporting the completion of Yogabatics, please know we welcome any feedback and questions you may have.  We will try hard to get back to you as quickly as possible. 

Risks and Challenges: Technical equipment failure is always a looming threat in the video production world. We already had a hard drive go out and had to work through that.  We back up all progress continually to prepare for equipment malfunctions, but if a computer crashes or something along these lines then that will certainly be a set-back. If we do have equipment failure, then we will have a few week shuffle to replace the equipment and continue production.

To Show our Appreciation: We've put together some cool gift ideas to show our heartfelt thanks to each of you who decide to get behind pushing this project to the finish line!  Once this series is made, there will be no end to it blessing people through building of relationships, playfulness and connection.  We hope our gifts of gratitude below communicate our appreciation to joining us in this effort!

If the Full Support is Not Raised: I believe in this series so much, that I'm just going to go into debt to make it happen and then whatever partial amount is donated will alleviate that a bit.  Everything you decide to contribute will be very heartily appreciated.
