Overview:
Ale Syndicate Brewers is dedicated to crafting amazing beer for the city of Chicago and helping elevate Chicago’s status globally as a great beer city. Ale Syndicate focuses on a collaborative, creative process that engages not just other breweries, but local businesses, organizations and individuals.
Right now, the beer is produced by partner breweries around Illinois; award-winning breweries where Ale Syndicate is an active part of the brewing plan, process and brew day. While these partners have been amazing and a huge help in getting the beer out to the city and suburbs, Ale Syndicate wants to be brewing on their own system. That’s why they’re working on building a brewery in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago.
Ale Syndicate’s plan right now includes three 20 BBL fermenters. In the brewing process, fermenters are one of the big limiting factors to how much beer a brewery can make. This is where YOU come in. With your help, Ale Syndicate can almost double their capacity by buying two more fermenters. That means more fresh beer for the city of Chicago - and you can help us get there!
What we need:
One 20 BBL fermenter with freight is about $15,000. We would only need $10,000 more to afford a second 20 BBL fermenter. So our funding goal is $15,000 with a stretch goal of $25,000. Anything over that will go into getting our barrel-aging program going.

Chicago is a beer-loving city, and, while new and great breweries continue to sprout up, the city still thirsts for many, many more barrels of delicious brew than is currently made.
