Hey there! First things first: thank you for visiting the Indiegogo page for "All of Me." Just the fact that you're reading this right now means the world. I'm Jayna Sweet, the writer/director of "All of me." Here is some of me: My three favourite things are coffee (I'm an addict), typewriters (half of the time I wish we still did all of our work on them), and yellow balloons (to me, there is nothing more poignant than a yellow balloon drifting through a blue sky). "All of Me" is a complex short film that explores the reality of schizophrenia. Keep reading to find out more about the project, the amazing people involved, and how you can be a part of this story.

Jamie Fischer is a recovering alcoholic and diagnosed schizophrenic. When our story begins, he has already received much of the help he needed and is well on his way to living a happy, sober life. However, the demons of the past are not so easily evaded, and as Jamie remembers the months and years following the event that changed his life - hitting rock bottom - we realize that we must love all of ourselves. Through an exploration of the stream of consciousness, "All of Me" delves into madness, identity, determination and self acceptance.

With this film, we are aiming to do something that has seldom been done before: present mental illness in a realistic light. The norm in media is to present illnesses like schizophrenia as being something that no one can live with and that turns people into monsters or blubbering idiots. However, that is not the case.

Once we finish the film, we're planning on taking "All of Me" to film festivals all across the globe, in order to spread the word about mental illness and about our art. Other goals include getting all of the talented artists involved some much-deserved exposure and finding funding for my first feature film (currently in pre-production).

Meet the writer/director and Elle Cassidy/Liv Cash-Fischer, JAYNA SWEET!

Jayna Sweet, just 18 years old, grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where she discovered her passion for the arts at an extremely young age. Growing up doing regional/community theatre, her first film experience was in Disney Channel's "Lemonade Mouth." After that, she began pursuing film and television. Since making the official move to LA in January 2013, she has starred in multiple short and feature films (Obscura, Head and Shoulders, Pink Zone) and guest starred on television shows (Stevie TV) as well as starring in multiple pilots (Salvaged, Generation Now). She started writing fiction at the age of three and began writing for the stage and screen at nine. Her goals as an artist are to provoke thought, evoke emotion, and revoke judgment. Jayna loves to tell haunting, powerful, tough-to-watch stories.

Meet the co-producer and Jamie Fischer/Jay Finley, KYLE PERREN!

Kyle Perren is originally from Oxford, North Carolina. He was heavily involved in Raleigh theatre and attributes his love for acting to the many shows he did with the North Carolina Theatre and Theatre in The Park, professional regional theatres in the area. He's most proud of his work as Romeo opposite screen actor Evan Rachel Wood in Theatre in The Park's production of Romeo and Juliet. Since moving to LA, he's been fortunate enough to have worked on several wonderful short films (Service Call, Product Specialists, Mon Pere My Curse) and web series (Pluck, Sir Jeffrey, M.D.) and to have helped found the 3Monkeys theatre company in Woodland Hills.

Meet Cam Finley, ADAM WEBER!

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Adam has been acting since he was young. After performing in various theatre projects in St. Louis, Adam left for University to the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in 2008. LIPA is a drama school in the UK which was established by Sir Paul McCartney in 1996. After graduating with a BA Honours in Acting, he moved to London where he has worked and can be seen on various commercials, short films and voiceover projects. Since returning stateside, Adam can be seen doing improv monthly at the LA Connection Comedy Theatre.

Meet Remy Peters, MICHAEL WILLIAM HUNTER!

Ever since he ran up onto the alter to imitate the priest giving his sermon in mass, the parents of (then 3-year old) Michael William Hunter knew he was destined to be an actor. Raised in North Pole, Alaska, Michael used his time spent indoors, away from the snowy blizzards, to express his wild enthusiasm for films. Throughout high school, he wrote, starred, directed, filmed, and even edited his own videos. Most of which ended up on the school's video announcements his senior year. He also performed in plays his school would put on and take summer classes at the Fairbanks Drama Association community theatre. After he graduated high school, he moved to Hollywood, California and graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts with an Associates Degree in Acting. Currently, Michael interns at the Actor's Comedy Studio and takes Sitcom Analysis classes. Michael has been in countless web-series, various short and feature films, and was accepted into SAG-AFTRA. Michael strives to continually improve his acting and still makes short films in his free time.

Meet Dr. Haskell, DAVID WEISENBERG!

David has not had an easy time as an actor. He has been attacked by robots (Power Rangers), blown up by invisible hand grenades (pilot episode of The Invisible Man TV series), threatened by space pirates (pilot episode of The Privateers), humiliated by children (iCarly), beaten up by Santa Claus (E.R.), arrested for murder (Monk), tackled by superheroes (pilot episode of The Adventures of Megabyte Man), intimidated by vampires (Demon Under Glass), and insulted by Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm), among others. David is thrilled to be a part of All of Me, where the only demons to be confronted are metaphorical.

Let’s just say it: movies are hard to make. There are a lot of independent moving parts that must miraculously come together in order for an idea to become a thing you can experience. And all of these moving parts (which, in our case, are a network of incredibly talented people with bills to pay and bellies to feed) are expensive. More expensive than you might think. Even an ultra low budget film can run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars! There are a lot of services that require more than flattery and internet praise to acquire.

I am paying for all of the production - that's casting, table reads, wardrobe, props, locations, permits, equipment, catering - myself. But, unfortunately, I do still need to eat and pay for rent, so I can't quite foot the bill for everything that happens AFTER we film - which happens to be crucial in the life of a movie. So, here's what your generous donations will help with:

CAST & CREW: Most of the cast and crew is working off deferred pay, which means, yes, they'll definitely be paid, but their paycheck will come later. We have quite a small team, but it still adds up. And all of our cast and crew members deserve to be rewarded - and not just through social media praise or good exposure - for all the hard work and heart they're pouring into this project.

MUSIC: Okay, so this is surprisingly the most expensive part of our budget. We have this insanely talented composer who wants to create an original score for us! This guy has some seriously awesome credits. He’s the former guitarist of Trapt (of “Headstrong” popularity), he’s a solo artist, he’s Calvin Goldspink’s producer and co-writer, and he tours with a ton of well-known indie bands. Oh, and he’s also super jazzed to compose the score for us! Drum roll please… Yes! It’s Robb Torres! He’s awesome, talented, he’s a really good guy, and many other things, but free he is not.

FESTIVAL SUBMISSIONS: This is one of those secret expenses that you wouldn’t really think of when you decide to make a short film. You don’t really see a lot of short films in movie theatres (and I think you’d be pretty upset if you paid $15 for a 10-20 minute movie), so the only way to get people to see your short film is to submit it to film festivals. And that means submission fees, which cost anywhere between $40-$150 PER FESTIVAL.

PREMIERE/PRESS: So here in Tinsel Town, we love premieres. It’s when you rent out a theatre, get all dressed up, roll out the red carpet, and screen (not watch) the film. This is the best opportunity to get to Hollywood somebodies to see and talk about your movie. We have connections at The Standard, an awesome place to have your premiere, but even at a discounted price, these things are quite costly.

Help us create opportunities and chances. Anything you can give is beyond-appreciated. Please share this video with all your friends and family. It's an important story with an incredible team and we want to take it to the next level. <3
