Why Zombies Really Rule the World
I'm a late comer to the zombie fan club. In fact I didn't want to make a zombie movie in the first place, but the best group of people in the world convinced me that it was going to be a blast. I didn't believe them, but I did it anyway. Know what happened? We won an award, and I had a blast and the story was really cool. We were all showing it off to our family and friends and they were totally jealous because they weren't in it. Know what else? It became a real story. A much different kinda of Zombie story.
I also realized something really important. A great story is a great story and the versatility and possibilities of a world populated with zombies are endless. Oh, and I fell in love with zombies.
I think the world loves zombies because it reminds us that even though there are scary nasty things out there, if we keep our wits and carry a machete we can survive and thrive in this big ole post apocalyptic world. I mean sometimes we are walkers and sometimes we are survivors. Sometimes both in a day.
This year I finally woke up from my 6 month nap and said, "Hey, I am expanding 'Altered' into a feature. Would any of you be interested in telling the whole story and making a feature length movie?" I think I am is still deaf from the "YES!!!" our team screamed back at me.
The Cast and Crew have been in film for various times, as short as last September and as long as 20 years. We all have a passion for story telling and this is one fun story.
I have been a camera man for TV and Feature Film as well as Music Videos and Commercials. I also write a little bit.

Tom was in Flubber, and appeared in Nash Bridges, plus too many others to name.
Morgan was just in Olympus Has Fallen.

'Altered' is the story of Detective Ransom, a homicide detective that's had his life and love ripped out of his hands. Not by Zombies, but by a cruel and sadistic killer.

We have the story, the crew, the actors, and the passion; but we don't have the money.
That's where you come in. You have a couple dollars that we don't have. You can be the catalyst that helps make a feature film happen. Your couple dollars means that we can bring you a world of zombies and a lifetime of pride.
We need $30,000. Whoa!!! What?!?! I know it sounds like a lot, but it is really just the necessities. That money will provide food, and locations, and equipment and small stipends for the cast and crew. Shooting will take us about two weeks (two or three meals a day for 50 people each day plus equipment rentals and location fees and permits). Editing will take a couple months. A couple LONG months of picture and sound editing, plus a custom amazing awesome score.
We need your help, but we aren't asking with no reciprocation; you can get a digital version of the movie pre-release, or get to come to the cast and crew screening party or get to be a Hero Zombie with your own kill scene. What the what? How fantastic is that?
You also get the satisfation of knowing that without YOU this film would never have been more than dry ink on paper. You'll be suporting the efforts and dreams of 50 different actors or crew members not to mention your own.
