Short Summary

We know Apogaea is hard. And sometimes, when all you need is a good nap, that tent just gets too hot. Hidden Retreat is your temporay autonomous nap zone, and only the determined will find this plush oasis in the woods. But, once found, you will be rewarded with a serene space to rest, nap, create or have an intimate conversation with friends.

Hidden Retreat is a quiet place to get away from the techno music, wild parties and craziness of the rest of Apogaea. Choose from one of three peaceful spaces located in the trees, all within close proximity of each other. Comfy blankets and pillows beckoning you to take off your shoes, sit down, relax and breathe. Lie down under the trees and look overhead. There, beautiful fabrics, garlands, crystals and wind chimes floating from trees will entertain your eyes and ears (if you aren't napping already). At night the trees and ground are lit up with soft lights. This will be a secret space to nap, relax, journal, create, have conversations, do yoga, meditate, or hold a ceremony.

Hidden retreat is just that, hidden. We'll be listed in the WWWW, but the location will not. Wander, enjoy the woods, and stumble upon our hideaway.

We just need a little help funding beautiful decorations so that this space is more than just some blankets thrown on the ground!

Hidden Retreat is: Rraine (former Lamplighter lead, and napper extraordinaire), Caroshine (former Apo President, and cuddle puddle instigator), Capt. Love (BAMF member and professional arborist), and Adena (expert meditaor and lover of love).

What We Need & What You Get

Our plans include creating three areas, each with a different theme, all in close proximity to each other. If we meet our fundraising goals, all three spaces are viable. $700, in conjunction with an Apo art grant (THANK YOU!), will allow us to prepare one space. If we reach the $1000 mark, we can provide two spaces. $1,500 will allow us to bring the entire vision to life, including three spaces with:

 

• Comfy, clean pillows and blankets
• Sustainable, solar rope lighting
• Sustainable, solar ground lighting
• Sustainable, solar chinese lanterns
• Garlands, crystals, chimes, and other beautiful tree decor
• Decorative boxes for your footwear
• Art hangings
• Gentle gongs
