Artists for World Peace (AFWP) raises funds through making art to support grass roots organizations around the world. Currently we provide scholarships, schooling, shelter, and sustainability projects to those in need. Artists and peace keepers everywhere have incorporated The International Peace Belt in this important work.
Artists for World Peace is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2003. Now in its third year, Artists for World Peace on Broadway brings together Broadway stars in an intimate setting. Co-produced by AFWP, Broadway's own Sharone Sayegh, and Lee Godburn, AFWP on Broadway 3 is being held at 54 Below, Broadway's newest supper club. (www.54below.com)
All of the performers donate their time and talent to support our humanitarian projects. Our focus for 2014 is "The Year of the Girl."
In addition to our ongoing work in Tanzania, and our previous work in Cambodia, one of our projects for 2014 will be to provide housing for women who were forced into the sex trade. Often left with no skills and little resources, this project seeks to provide them with housing and the education needed to lead independent, productive lives. Our first house will be built in India.
Your financial support will enable us to cover the costs of this wonderful evening. By covering the expenses of the venue, your donation will allow AFWP to maximize the profits and extend the impact of our cause.

Thank you for your contribution, and we hope to see you at the show. Tickets will be available on our website as of Sept. 1. If you cannot make a financial contribution there is another way to support AFWP on Broadway 3: SPREAD THE WORD!
THANK YOU.
