PlotB For Badass is a game about a badass metalhead called Garrett B. Hustain. And you know what they did? Well, they took his hard earned beer, and everybody knows, you don’t take a metalhead's beer. Actually, taking a metalhead's beer often has some pretty dire consequences like some smashed skulls and broken ribs. And thats exactly what's going to happen. But before he starts his murderous rampage he has to know, why would they take away his beer? What did he ever do to them? As it turns out a new mayor was elected, Garret doesn’t really keep up with that politics crap because he’s too busy rocking out on his guitar but this new mayor guy seems to be working real hard to get his attention. It looks like this new donkey actually hates metalheads, and is willing to do anything and everything to keep them out of the city.
World
B for badass takes place in an imaginary world where everyone's identity and personality are defined by what music genre they listen to. You'll encounter people who listen to Rap, Club, emo or classical.
Badass will come across a Brewery, a concert hall, a recording studio and hell itself! It's worth noting that all the levels will be music related and have some heavy metal imagery.

BasicsB For Badass is a new school run’n’gun. It ‘s a one-player game in which you play the most badass metalhead ever - Garrett B. Hustain - working his way through a 2D horizontal scrolling, killing all the bastards on your way.
Scoring System
Scoring is an important part of the B For Badass experience and we want scores to truly reflect the quality of the level run.
We want for the player to kill all the enemies as fast as possible and to encourage this we put a combo gauge in the game. This gauge will start when you hit an enemy and in order to keep it filled you will need to hit an enemy before the gauge is empty. The best scores you can get will require you to have kept a full gauge for the entire level.
Every time an enemy is killed during a combo you will get a stackable combo counter and this counter will multiply an enemies point worth when hes killed.
At the end of each level you will have bonus point for :
Time : The faster you complete the level, the more points you'll get.
Be untouchable : If you manage to never get hit you'll get a huge point bonus.
Full Combo : If you start a combo on the first enemy and finish the level without letting your gauge empty you will earn a massive point bonus.
Reaper : Killing all enemies in the level will also get you bonus points. Note that in the gameplay demo this bonus is not yet integrated. Instead you will get bonus point for every enemy killed.
Weaponry
Shotgun : Your primary weapon. It has a short range and a good fire rate. The short range force you closer to your ennemies where you can deal some serious damage. You can start or continue a combo with this weapon.
Axe : Badass needs a long range weapon and we think there is nothing more badass than throwing an axe for taking out a well covered foe. But an axe is a bulky and pricy weapon so Badass can only have 3 of them on his person at all times. Luckily he’s not the only madman running around this city with axes so you'll be able to find some on certain enemies. You can start or continue a combo with this weapon.
Charge : You need to go fast if you don’t want to break your combo and you happen to be in luck because Badass has a charge attack. You’re invulnerable when you’re charging and all enemies will lose 1 HP when you hit them. You can also start or continue a combo with the charge.
Solo Guitar : Badass really loves to play guitar. And unlike his enemies because he is a TRVE Metalhead, the Gods of Heavy Metal will give him incredible power and electrify all of his enemies when Badass calls upon their aid. You are only able to use this special ability every 30 seconds and it will stop your combo so be careful with this one.
