B-Type Be the Type to Rock a Stage!

B-Type are the UK's largest gigging Nerdcore Rap act. Blending acoustic funk, looped beatbox drums, synth leads and bass, as well as raps about everything from class warfare to pokemon, B-Type evolved from the 8-Bit Rap project of Steve Brunton to a full band in December of 2012.

Currently, B-Type largely play on the con circuit, wowing convention goers with their high energy performance, sing along chorus', and crowd participation freestyles.

While moving forward from being a solo act has made B-Type a band to be reckoned with, unfortunately recording a band is a bit more expensive than recording yourself in your bedroom!

Further, if we have merchandise to sell, it will greatly widen the scope of gigs we would be able to accept, with sales covering the cost of petrol and delicious food that are two of the biggest requirements when touring!

Should this campaign succeed, B-Type will have all the parts in place to become a super uber legit touring band like woah! Also, we will be able to partake in the mecha of geek music shindigs, NERDAPALOOZA!

My band and my friends mean the world to me. This adventure has been incredible. I have already opened for and performed with some of my heroes, and have a history both playing at, and hosting, Nerdapalooza! Indeed, my first ever gig was Nerdapalooza-UK, with my second ever gig being Nerdapalooza in America!

If this is successful, not only will I be able to share the bands music, which I am incredibly proud of, with you, but we can share it with the rest of the world as well! Due to our unique line up, we get asked to play gigs across the whole country and abroad, but without merch to subsidize the expenses, we simply cannot afford to do all these fantastic gigs we get offered.
