Our Journey
Over the course of five years, the artistic vision of Garrett Ammon and Dawn Fay has helped define Ballet Nouveau Colorado (BNC) as a creative leader in the state of Colorado and a force to be recognized in the world of dance.
By collaborating with artists across a spectrum of mediums, they have created transformative experiences that upend notions about how dance can be created and shared in the community.
To continue to move this vision forward and free it to blossom into its full potential, the structure surrounding this innovative work and the brand that captures its essence must be built anew.
The visionary dance company, Ballet Nouveau Colorado, is transforming into Wonderbound.

In the upcoming season, Wonderbound will lean into our collaborative capacities to produce world-class, locally minded art and help transform our new community into a lively, beautiful and sustainable place, with the arts at its core. The artists of Wonderbound will strive to provide innovative programming that fosters interaction among community members, arts organizations and artists.
Our new location will play a large role in the far-reaching impact of this new American dance company. By taking advantage of the building’s original design and unassuming personality, we can literally “throw open our doors” and engage the surrounding community. Wonderbound will use our new home as a gathering place and nerve center to animate the area with ongoing creative energy.

A home where the organization can grow, thrive and inspire audiences globally, while mobilizing and invigorating our local community.

Wonderbound has already garnered significant support from the Denver community. Leading the charge is the highly prestigious arts advocate Bonfils-Stanton Foundation, who has awarded the company a generous multi-year financial commitment, as well as the David and Laura Merage Foundation and the Kenney Brothers Foundation.
At present we're over half way there – in terms of funding – to make the transition. Wonderbound thanks all of our incredible supporters for gettting us to this point, and would also like to ask for your help in funding the move into our new home!
