Short Summary
We are TheSuperRun. Ever wanted to be a Superhero? Now you can on sooooo many levels. Our goal is to be superheroes and to help others to become superheroes. TheSuperRun is a national, family friendly, fun run event. We partner with local non-profit organizations to help them raise awareness and funds for their cause. We underwrite the entire event and cover the cost of security, rental fees, promotional items, and so many other expenses the non-profits generally are unable to provide to promote an event.
We have a wide range of backgrounds on our team, including the backing of the people behind Superfly Kids (SuperflyKids.com), one of the fastest growing companies in the USA according to the INC 500, and Hero Network (HeroNetwork.com), a national for profit organization to help non-profits raise money and awareness. We want to take our expertise and the success we've had to give back in a powerful way.

A run we helped sponsor in October of 2013 to raise funds, awareness and capes for Heart Heroes.
Participants in the run can raise funds for the non-profit of their choice. Raising funds for Heart Heroes? Autism awareness? Disabled vets? Meals On Wheels? American Cancer Society?
Our Heart Hero non-profit partners have helped so many wonderful kids born with CHD. You will be supporting them and so many other amazing organizations.
We currently have 22 locations committed plus many additional locations to be added soon. We plan on raising hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars for non-profits across the country. These events cost money to put on, but once we have a few under our belt we are certain this will become a self sufficient enterprise spreading goodness for years to come. The more we raise the faster we can commit to organizing more events!
What We Need & What You Get
Our goal is $10,000. This will be enough to put deposits down and cover the costs of acquiring insurance (up to $1,000 per event) , security (about $500 per event, deposits (up to $1,000 per event), and other services necessary to put on a successful event.
If we don't reach our goal the initial number of events in 2014 will simply be lower, but we are committed to this event so it will go on!
Yes, you're a superhero for participating. No matter what you're getting the stuff for participating, and this isn't just any ordinary stuff. This is Made in the USA, authentic Superhero gear. You can live on as a Superhero forever with our highest contribution level, even get a flight and stay in Detroit, the turn around city of the country and witness first hand the effect TheSuperRun will have in various cities across the country.

The Impact
We have already partnered with several non-profits to put on these events. Your participation will make a difference, not only for the current non-profits, but especially the smaller organizations. Local non-profits don't have the resources to do this kind of event on their own. The ripple effect of your participation will continue to grow. The more successful this event is the greater the difference you're making.
Our organization has received honors such as:
INC 500 as one of the fastest growing private companies in the USA
CRAINS Salute to Entrepenuers
We have been recognized at a high level in the press:
NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams , twice, plus part of their national promo spot.
USA Today
Parents magazine
The Detroit News
As well as may other awards and press coverage.
Here are just a few of our top corporate clients who use our authentic superhero capes for company promotions:
