Short Summary

Hello, my name is Angel Cabrera...an active member of the Rotaract Club of Orange Walk in Belize. As part of this charitable organization, myself and another member, Stephanie Acosta, have decided to seek financial assistance for a young boy from the neighborhood.

Young Graciano Ramos is only 12 years old, and has unfortunately suffered a tragic accident...a couple months ago, he was playing on a make shift tree-house in the neighborhood when he fell off and received severe head injuries which have caused his brain to become swollen...as a result, a part of his skull has been removed to help alleviate the pain and discomfort of the swollen brain. He had lost mobility completely, but is slowly regaining feelings in the hands.

By contirbuting to this worthy cause, you will be helping us help out the family, who is in great need of financial assistance to cover outstanding medical bills at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City where he was hospitalized for about 2 months.  We believe that he has been given a second chance and would really like to see him the way he was before.  With your donations, the family will be able to afford the physical therapy sessions that he requires...sessions that are carried out in neighboring Mexico.

What We Need & What You Get

He is expected to attend regular therapy sessions in Mexico for the next two years...this is very expensive since his mother or father would have to leave work to take him on the 2 hour road trips to the rehabilitation center in Mexico. We want to raise these funds to help particularly with their traveling expenses and fees at the therapy center. The next 2 years or more will be very difficult for the family, but we know that with your help we can help them out tremendously!

You all will be left with the great feeling of knowing that young Graciano Ramos will be able to walk again with the help of God.  Be kind...give us a hand to help this young boy in Belize.  We are sure that he will be very very appreciative of the assitance he receives :)
