Hello!
My name is Bhrigu and I’ve been playing the guitar for quite sometime now. I’m originally from the city of Pune, India and in 2007 came to the city of Boston, to study music. Since my long ass swim to the States, I have had the privilege and honor of playing with artists like Karsh Kale, Meshell Ndegeocello, Arif Lohar, Angelique Kidjo, Alam Khan (son of Ali Akbar Khan), Anoushka Shankar, The Midival Punditz and Jalebee Cartel. Now, I finally feel like its time to release some of my own musical ideas into the world, and for that to actually happen, I need some help!
This campaign is meant to raise awareness (and hopefully, some money) for the music that I intend to release. I will be releasing 2 Songs at a time, each with 1 Music Video to follow up.
I have put all my heart and soul into this project. Years of work really…through bouts inspiration, realizations, self doubt, persistence and hell of a lot of faith, this album is actually happening!
With your support, I can pay my team of highly gifted Artists, Musicians, Filmmakers and Graphic Designers who have worked on this project + Press a Limited Release of my Debut Album, Delivered straight to your doorstep!!
What We Need & What You Get
We need $3500 in total.
$1000 – For 2 music videos! (So I got a Beer + New Solo Guitar Piece)
$1000 – Engineering/Mixing/Mastering of the Album (India + US)
$750 – Printing a Limited 1st Press/Edition of CDS
$500 – Artwork/Inlay for CD
$250 – Indiegogo + Credit Card Fee
+ 4 nights in the Taj (haha, just kidding :)
If we raise more than $3500, the money will be used for Publicity, Promotion purposes/PR and Touring! And of course, recording more music!!
