Who are we?
We're runners. Some of us have kids. When we read about what happened in Boston, it touched us in a very personal way. When we read that a little boy waiting for his father at the finish line was killed, we cried. We hugged our kids harder than they've ever been hugged. We knew we had to do something.
We want to show the people of Boston that we are with them. We want to tell the people who did this that we are not scared and that we will keep running marathons.
We want to tell the people who come out to support us at races that we love them, and that they shouldn't be scared either. We hope that our family and friends who come out to support us will also be draped in blue and gold!
We want to see a blue and gold wave of runners speeding through the streets of Toronto, to show Boston and the world that the running community is strong and united in the face of this tragedy.
The Toronto Marathon has generously provided us with a booth on both days of the race expo.
What We Need & What You Get
We need you to buy a shirt and wear it on race day, whether you run the 5k, half, marathon, or come to cheer us on.
Donate $26.00 CAD and you get a blue and gold crew neck performance technical shirt, an example of the design can be seen above.*
All of the profit raised will go to the Boston Children's Hospital and will be donated in the memory of Martin Richard (the little boy who was killed). Please see our gallery for a letter of endorsement from the Boston Children's Hospital.
Shirts must be picked up at the race expo on May 3rd or May 4th. No shipping.

The Impact
We think that the best way to show support for this tragedy is to run together, under one flag (or colours), with a very clear message of support to the people of Boston.
Other Ways You Can Help
If a shirt is not in the cards for you, we need you to wear blue and gold on race day anyway.
Please share the indiegogo link to our campaign as often as you see fit.
100% of every donation less than $26.00 CAD (ie: no shirt), or (more than, without selecting a shirt) will go directly to the Boston Children's Hospital, but more of your money will go directly to the hospital if you donate via the site below (indiegogo charges a commision on every dollar donated).
