Summary

We are Stephen Powell and Lee Williams and we are organising Bristol Beer Week between 3rd and 9th October 2013. Over the past year, Bristol has become an epicentre for beer and we believe we should celebrate this by asking local venues and brewers to put on a week of awesome beery events that we will help promote via our website, social media and physical marketing campaigns. 

Bristol Beer Week is a collective driven event. It doesn't cost anything to be involved and we do not stand to profit from any of the time we put in. 

At a recent open forum, a number of participants suggested that they would be most happy to donate some unique items to help us cover some of the costs that we will incur as part of our campaign. We have set up this page to make these items available for those of you who wish to donate towards Bristol Beer Week. There are only a couple of "perks" at the moment but we hope to have more over the next month or so.

What we need and what we plan to do with your cash

To be completely clear, we don't need anything. Bristol Beer Week will take place if we don't raise a penny. However, we will have some really cool t-shirts, and some very kind people have donated some unique gifts to us, so it would be a shame to let these things go to waste. 

Every pound we raise will be spent on the 2013 Bristol Beer Week. If we have anything left over, it will go towards next year's beer week and so on and so on. 

Money we raise will go towards:

• Website design and hosting
• T-shirt printing
• Flyers, posters and beer mats
• Glasses
• General marketing 

Other Ways You Can Help

We absolutely don't want to make people feel like they have to contribute towards our campaign. We love beer and we have chosen to organise the beer week because we love Bristol and think its people deserve to have a week of celebrating its wonderful beer scene. We absolutely aren't doing it to make money.

The most helpful thing you can do is help us promote Bristol Beer Week. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook, tell your friends about the week and come along and enjoy all the amazing events people are putting on.
