Short Summary
Golden Stoop Productions is a team of young, female filmmakers working to bring a recently finished screenplay to life. Aviva Peltin and Erin Bosetti, the writers and directors, met in dance class when Aviva was a freshman and Erin was a senior. Although they weren’t close in high school, they reconnected this past summer through an internship for a feature film in Seattle. Both obsessed with writing, film, and creativity, they decided to join forces. The rest is history.
Canna, approximately 20 minutes in length, is about the wonders of having an imaginary friend and dealing with the tough issue of divorce at the age of seven. We plan to film the first two weekends of December, and we will submit the film by January 31 to the prestigious National Film Festival for Talented Youth. The Festival is held right here in Seattle in April.
