Who are we?
Hi there! We're Layne and Shaye and we're elite-level cheerleaders living in North Vancouver, Canada.

We love cheer and we love our mom. Cheer, mom, cheer, mom. CHEER MOM!
Our mom has supported our passion for cheer for 9 years. She works really hard to make sure that we get to do what we love but its a struggle because she works in non-profit and doesn't make a ton of money.
We were trying to work out a way to help her when we learned about Indiegogo. We figured that we could create an online community that shows people how important cheer (and sport) has been in our lives. We do well in school, we don't do any of the bad stuff some kids do and we train...a lot. So we think we'd be good cheer role models.
Cheer is an elite sport, like hockey, so its expensive. For both of us its $7,000 this year. We're hoping that we can have people follow us on the road to the World Championships in April and have them feel part of this great YEAR OF CHEER!
What We Need & What You Get
We need to raise $7,000 in order to pay for the extra training, choreography, uniforms, practice gear, shoes, travel, travel accommodation etc. But we also feel that if we raise more we want to help out some other kids at our club who have trouble covering the costs too.
We have some really fun perks including a TRIBZSIBZ limited edition t-shirt with our cool logo. (comes with the $75, $100 and $150 perks!!)

We're hoping to build a full-on TRIBZSIBZ following and we want as many people as possible to follow us as we work toward our goal to get to Worlds. How cool would it be to see some of our shirts at cheer events?
Why We're Doing This
I (Layne) have a learning disability that was diagnosed in grade 2 and Shaye was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease this year. (To learn more about Crohn's check out http://www.ccfc.ca/site/c.ajIRK4NLLhJ0E/b.6429681/k.AF7A/CCFC.htm)
This is what Shaye looked like when she was really sick :(

We want to show people that no matter what challenges you face in life, sport can really help you build self-esteem and know what it means to be involved in something bigger than yourself.
Our mom is always talking about "perspective" so even through our parents divorce we were never allowed to feel sorry for ourselves. She shows us how other people have it and how we're so fortunate.
Now that we're 12 and 15 we realize we're fortunate because she has made some pretty major sacrifices for us to do what we love.
We want to pay that forward by helping her and maybe helping some other families too.
Everyone should know what it feels like to work toward their dream.
Other Ways You Can Help
Some people just can’t contribute, but that doesn’t mean they can’t help:
- Please share our TRIBZSIBZ online stuff with your friends. We're on Facebook at https://facebook.com/tribzsibz and on Instagram and Vine.
- Indiegogo has a ton of cool sharing tools so if you can't contribute please share this with your friends, family, teammates etc.
Anything you can do would be really appreciated!
