About me

I am Patricia, a female entrepreneur who strongly believes that you can only give your best to the things you're most passionate about. I decided to open a venue that will combine my interests (gadgets and apparel) and hobbies(playing board games and listening to stand-up comedy). The Gadget Industry is booming and is one of the world’s most dynamic economic sectors. This venue will offer the newest and coolest gadgets! Chicks & Geeks will also carry hand-picked stylish apparel - very different from the mainstream! And in which better atmosphere can you enjoy all of these things than in one filled with laughter - stand-up comedy will be constantly played on the background!

 I believe this venue will create joyous and unforgettable experiences for all people! 

Chicks & Geeks will be located in beautiful and artistic Saint Petersburg, FL, on one of the most busy roads (Central Avenue). Right across the street is the famous Dog Bar. The area is well known for its creative artists, antique and furniture dealers, restaurants, beauty salons, entertainment businesses, stadiums, colleges, and a wide variety of small business entrepreneurs. The venue has 2,000 square feet and its great layout is perfect for the business. I want everyone to feel welcome and have a fantastic time when they visit Chicks & Geeks!

I’ve been working on Chicks & Geeks for a few months now, and by this stage I have a great venue and about a third of my ideal inventory.

With my current budget I can’t fully achieve my vision for Chicks & Geeks. The $39k I hope to raise via this campaign will allow me to complete my ideal inventory of apparel and gadgets to ensure I have a great selection. If I don’t quite make it to my goal, all of the funds I receive will still be put towards expanding the current inventory.
