Tatiana Maslany for All the Awards

My name is Sarah Evans. I'm a huge fan of Orphan Black just like you. When Tatiana Maslany was snubbed for an Emmy I decided to take things into the fans' hands. Maslany was nominated and the winner of a Critic's Choice Award and Television Critics Association Award. The critics are getting it right and realizing her amazing acting abilities. Tatiana Maslany and Orphan Black recently won EWwy Awards which are fan voted awards. Maslany was nominated for a Golden Globe which is an amazing feat though well-deserved. Though I think that is amazing, I want Maslany to have an award specifically from her fans. I think this is a perfect way as fans that we could show her how much her performance has rocked! 

I am commissioning an artist to create a unique awards statue specifically for the fans of Orphan Black to give to her. Contributions are necessary for this to happen plus I wanted to get as many fans involved as possible.

What We Need & What You Get

Breakdown: The Funds

• Creation of the awards statue - Since this is a one of a kind statue created by the hand of an artist it will cost about $1000
  
  
• Creation of the replica statues - Since only three will be made by the same artist creating the statue it will cost about $500
  
  
• Shipping and Packing- Though I would really like to personally hand deliver this, I doubt that will be possible so some of the cost will be shipping and packing this to Mississippi to Toronto where the series is filmed. Estimated shipping cost is $250
  
  
• $250 raised will be for fees ($140) and incidentals such as extra cost of the statue or shipping.

Breakdown: The Perks

• The Beth - $1 - I know people will want to donate any amount to say they were part of it so I've added this option. The perk is you will be named on the fan award's website. [Beth] (Unlimited)
  
  
• The Alison - $5 - You will be able to digitally sign a card that will be included. There are two ways to do this. 1. Send me the name you want included and I'll type it in the card or 2. Send me a file of your handwritten name in any form (print or cursive). [Alison & Beth] (Limited to 500)
  
  
• The Cosima - $25 - You will be able to watch a behind the scene video of how the statue was made and receive several detailed images of the statue during production. [Cosima, Alison, Beth] (Limited to 50)
  
  
• The Sarah - $100 - Only 5 (plus 3 at the $500 level) will get your name etched on the statue. [Sarah, Cosima, Alison, Beth] (Limited to 5)
  
  
• The Helena - $500 - You will get a replica of the statue and the ability to put a handwritten note in the card that will be sent with the statue. [Helena, Sarah, Cosima, Alison, Beth] (Limited to 3)
  
  * To clarify the brackets at the end of each perk level clarifies what perks you will be receiving if you donate at that level.
  
  Disclaimer: All the perk levels have a cap as indicated under the perks level on the right. I am doing this as a personal project. I've seen crowdfunding campaigns that they have problems when the number of backers exceed their expectations and it takes them a while to get out their perks. As much as I would like to not have caps, I do not have the time to deal with more backers than specified and I want you to get the perks as soon as possible.

The Impact

I am a part of different fandoms. I see fans coming together and helping support the actors all the time. I think this is a great way for the Clone Club to unite and show our support for Tatiana Maslany and the amazing work she does on Orphan Black. Orphan Black is confirmed to be back for season 2 in April 2014 and through this campaign I think we can show them how much the fans appreciate her amazing performances!
