Thank You!
My wife, Danielle, and I (Milan Kesic) hosted a 5k-Miles for Melanoma on June 2nd to help raise money for Dr. Markovic and his research team at the Mayo Clinic to help find the cure for melanoma. We had an outstanding turn out. On the day of the race we raised $11,000 between on-site registration and donations, $12,250 from corporate sponsors, $4,110 from online registration and $12,604 from online donations.

![Letter from Dr. Markovic]()
Dr. Markovic is chair of the Melanoma Disease-Oriented Group of the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center and chair of the Midwest Melanoma Partnership. His research is focused on understanding opportunities for integrating different systemic treatment modalities into more-effective therapies for advanced melanoma. He is close to creating a new drug he refers to as "the nuclear weapon against melanoma."

The Impact
Dr. Markovic and his team at the Mayo Clinic are currently working on a cure for not just Melanoma, but also all cancer in general. The money raised will enable him to significantly move forward and make this dream a reality. I have complete faith in this man and have no doubt that with our help and others he will indeed invent a cure in the near future. Your donation is greatly appreciated. Your contribution will be fully tax deductible as the Mayo Clinic is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
