Hello friends and comrades!
My talented crew and I, with the help and support of New Daydream films are embarking on an exciting journey on May 27th, 2013. We are filming a promotional pilot episode called “Coma” and...
We need YOUR help to bring this amazing and exciting story to life!
What is it? - It is a forty five minute pilot episode that I wrote and am now directing.
What's it about? - It's a teen/young adult fantasy, adventure show that's fresh, clean, new and exciting. It's a time and dimension-hopping story that will keep audiences guessing from beginning to end. It is my passion to tell an exciting story for teen/young adult audiences that is original and creative. I want to breathe new life and put my own stamp on a genre that I and my team love very dearly.
So? - You are probably asking yourself, what is he going to do with this film? Love to answer that question! -With the help of my friends at New Daydream films, we will be able to show the pilot episode plus the complete “Coma package” to various leading television networks.
The “Coma” package - The package will be the first season of Coma in script form, plus 8 to 12 scripts for additional episodes, the production bible (which will include detailed information about all the characters), back stories and top quality concept art.
We need your help!!!
Whenever I do something like this I know it's an act of faith and I believe we can do it with God's help! Would you consider getting involved? This film is going to be done on a shoe string budget while still keeping to the highest production standards. We need to raise 1,500 to be able to make this dream into a reality! However, I know how hard my talented and passionate crew will be working and I want to honor them as the producer and director; therefore, I need to raise an additional $1,500 in order to pay my incredible crew! That is a total of only $3,000 to film the entire pilot and pay my crew. (I will not be making a penny off of this; it's just for my crew.)
Here is the breakdown of the cost:
Estimated Cost to film the Pilot - $1,500
Wardrobe - $200
Set Design - $250
Props - $150
Make-Up - $75
Prosthetics - $125
Meals/Kraft Services - $ 500 ($5/per person)
Transportation Costs $200
*Crew Compensation* - $1,500
TOTAL: $3,000
Thank you! - Please give to this incredible project! I am so excited for what God has in store for this story. I can't wait to show off the talent of our cast and crew and to share this fantastic story with the world. I believe in the Charlotte film community and the wonderful state of NC. With your help, my friends, we can make something beautiful together. Please help us to raise our goal of $3,000.
*The need is only $1,500, but we need to reach $3,000 in order to pay the crew!*
So What can you get out of it?
