WHO AM I?

My name is J-L Cauvin. I am a comedian, writer, and impressionist.  Over the last few years I have been making lots of YouTube videos on my own dime, but recently, after the success of my Louis CK Tells the Classics video, I wrote a more ambitious project that requires some assistance.  It is a short web series featuring me as Louis CK running school for young comedians.  Thus, COMEDY ACADEMY was born.

What happens in COMEDY ACADEMY?

I will be playing CK, as well as four other famous comedians and comedian JP McDade will be contributing his impression of Comedian/Professor Anthony Jeselnik, which alone will make the series worth watching.

Why should you give money to this & what do you get?

The money I am seeking to raise goes entirely towards editing, makeup, hair, and location rentals for the series. As a thank you for money you contribute (levels range from just $5 to $100) you will get all sorts of fun and funny stuff from me.  Please browse the campaign to see all the things you can get.  As an example my albums are available for cheaper than iTunes through this campaign and can be bought for yourself or, if you have the albums already, you can send them to a friend if you want to make a contribution, but don't need the reward.

The campaign is only 30 days so please contribute what you can (anything is appreciated and goes towards making Comedy Academy a reality) and definitely spread the word.
