What’s my background?

Hey folks! If you don’t know me, I moved to Vancouver from England with my family at the age of seven. Though classically trained on the piano, I’m a self-taught guitarist and singer/songwriter fusing folk, rock, soul, and acoustic sounds with a British twist. I would best describe my genre as Indie Folk Rock.

Starting out busking on Granville Island, I’ve played many venues around town; Vancouver FanClub, The Backstage Lounge, The Railway Club, The Cellar Nightclub, The Anza Club, Olympic Village, REO white water rafting, yoga classes, fundraisers, Stanley Park, and performed along side other great local Vancouver talent. There’s nothing like the energy and rush from hitting the stage and performing live. It’s now time for me bring this energy into the studio and record my debut EP. From there, I’ll have something to take with me on tour.

The Album

I am unbelievably excited to head into the studio in September to work with the talented local Producer and Singer/Songwriter Winston Hauschild (Hannah Georgas, Wanting, Hey Ocean!) and record my debut EP. We are recording at Fader Master Sound Studios here in Vancouver, BC.

Where will your money go and what do you receive?

As seen from the video above, I have been saving up for a while now to pay for the album; working day jobs such as painting this past summer, but it’s not going to cover everything.
