Short Summary
We are an independent team of four people coming from different video game companies. We already worked on different released video game like « Save the Furries » or « Q.U.B.E » which known good sells.
Now it’s time for us to create our own project with Crate’s Odyssey which is an adventure puzzle game developed with the Unreal Engine 3 for iOS and PC. It’s really important for us to make something different than a simple puzzle game, that’s why we implement the adventure part with a real story, a real universe and a real evolution during the game.
The project is not possible without your help because we have just enough time and money to create a simple demo of the game. The future of the project is in your hand so we count on you.
What We Need & What You Get
At this moment we need 10 000$ to complete our budget. That money will be used to buy hardware and software, and to pay us during enough time to finish the game.
To thank you back for your funds on the project we have some good and unique perks to offer. It’s important for us that every people who believe on that game receive a copy of it as soon as it is available, that’s why we offer the game for only 20$.
Some perks give you special responsibilities on the game: create your own level, give us advice, take decisions etc.
A word if we don’t reach the goal of 10 000 $. Your trust is really important for us and you need to know that we will do our best with what we receive to complete the game, even if it’s not enough. For people who help us you’ll receive your perks anyway, we don’t need to reach our goal for that.
The Game
With a really early demo of the game we won a contest in France called “Game A Niaque”. We were judged by a lot of Video Games Company and we decided to continue the adventure because of all good critics we received that day. “Big potential”, “really original”, “already a professional look”. All critics were really motivating for us.
At this moment, the game is on a good way. We have a playable demo with all gameplay elements working fine. We have tested the game on an Iphone 3GS (30 FPS) and an Ipad 2 (60 FPS) and we have a nice render on both.
We are really confident with that game because we have a really good experience with the Unreal Engine and with iOS games, so we know what we are doing. The game has a nice graphical universe for kids and adults so everyone can play the game easily.
The game is original because it will mix the adventure and the puzzle game. It’s important for us to have a good story and a good evolution during the game (new powers, boss fights etc.). And it needs to have a good replay value that’s why we implement the puzzle game part.

Note 1: The magus used in videos is the property of “Trendy entertainments” and that character is coming from the game “Dungeon Defenders”. We use it because it was free source code but of course we have planned to create our own character for the final game.
