25 million bamboo trees

Our goal:

We want to plant 1,500 bamboo saplings by spring 2014, laying the foundations for a bamboo forest of 25 million bamboo trees – a real powerhouse and an almost inexhaustible green resource. With the additional resources of raw materials, we will be able to launch the Kissed by Bamboo  Bamboo Health & Beauty Drink
for consumers by Spring 2014.

Sustainable economy:

Over the past 2 years, we have built a bamboo factory at our site in Wuyishan. There, we extract highly-effective anti-inflammatory bamboo extracts for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and nutritional industries from our organic bamboo.

Bamboo Power:

Bamboo plants are interconnected via their roots. Generations of trees join to create a forest – a rapidly-growing, mythical place of power. Fascinated by this energy, in 2010 Patrick Neuenschwander and I decided to invest all of our wealth and entrepreneurship in becoming bamboo producers. Since then, we have been chasing the business idea of using our own organically-certified bamboo forest to produce leaves for the extraction of bamboo essences. Bamboo extracts have a very strong anti-inflammatory effect and are therefore a very interesting raw material for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and nutritional industries.

Venture:

This spring, after a 2-year test period and with the help of investors, our bamboo factory began operations at the foot of our own small organically-certified bamboo forest (50 hectares) in Wuyishan (China). Using organic bamboo extracts and following intensive self-testing (www.selbstversuche.ch), we have developed a unique health and beauty drink. Bamboo leaf extracts contain innumerable ingredients which mean that our bamboo drink has an anti-inflammatory effect and strengthens the body from within.
The development of our production means that our Need for organically-certified bamboo leaves has increased. We also want to continue to harvest our raw materials sustainably and to be able to trace each leaf directly back to its origin in the forest. We are launching this Indiegogo campaign to attract capital and commitment for our vision.
