Our Story
Hello there!
We are Rose Chang & Stephanie Drabik, and together we run Crywolf. Crywolf is our online shop (www.crywolfclothing.com), where we design everything you see on the site and make the majority of it, with a few exceptions. We have based ourselves on a very DIY motto through the start of our business, and want to continue to do so. We have been working out of our basement studios, and selling online and at trade shows trying to build our brand for the past 8 years. We feel that at this point, we have outgrown our home-based studios and the natural next step would be to gain our own little space in this big city! After years of contemplating and months of searching, we have taken the plunge and found and secured a retail/studio location in downtown Toronto which will be the new home of Crywolf! This is a HUGE step for us, and we can't do it alone.

Why we need you
We have always relied heavily on the support of our fans and customers to keep going and keep growing. By purchasing one of our incentives, you will not only get an awesome Crywolf prize pack but you will also be contributing to help Crywolf, a local small business, continue to grow.
Our location will be at 91 Ossington Ave. in Toronto, Ontario. It will double as a retail and studio space where we will both create and sell magical things! Our lease will take effect in July but we plan on having our official opening in September 2013. Since making this commitment recently, we know that we need the support of our community and the fan base that we have built to make this dream come true!
Breakdown
We have found and secured our retail location - but now we need your help! We are asking for $15,000.00. We would use the money towards:
- Getting equipment for the store (shelving and fixtures, lighting and POS hardware)

General renovations (we need money to obtain permits, installing display units, paint, redoing the ceiling, and general fixer-uppers)
- Setting up our studio with a space to facilitate screen printing and also to host public workshops
- All funds raised will go directly towards setting up and completing our store. If we do not reach our goal we will accomplish as much as we can with what we have. Any money left over will be used to get a head start on inventory.
In order to express our gratitude for donating money to our cause, we wanted to come up with really great incentives/prize packs. Each prize is unique to this campaign - the designs are custom and in limited edition colourways so you know you are getting something truly special when you donate!
The Impact
We also plan on giving back to the community that supports us by having workshops that anyone can sign up for and learn about screenprinting and other fun projects. We want to feature artists work in our shop in order to support new and upcoming local artists. Up until this point we have lived our lives doing what we love but are at a critical point where we need to expand and see where it takes us. We could never have gotten where we are today without our fans have supported us in our journey thus far and we hope you believe in this campaign as much as we do!
