**Art collector Perk** Summer and Spring have been claimed!!
If you don't know Darius Akaelae, you can get to know him by visiting the Cyantian Chronicles, an online comic that has been going since 1998 in various stories. Darius is in most of them at some point or another and is a primary character. He's a bit of a brat! (More plush images here!)
So now's your chance to help move this little project TO COMPLETION.
What does $4000 cover? It covers the creation of an 8" tall, soft plush Darius with white fur, wild hair and a red vest. The plush shown is just a prototype and some things have changed a little. The production plushes will be solid white, no pants. It's Darius. He'd prefer that any way. I figure I have a few creative people who might want to design him some… or put him in a skirt as someone suggested would be the best way to torment a Darius. The eyes will also have pupils in the final.
The rest of what's covered in the goal is shipping them TO me, shipping them to the pledgers, buying polymailers to ship them with, labels, ink, taxes, AND Indigogo's fee!
Once this goal is met, I will be able to accept orders via mail and other methods.

Stretch Goal #1 - $6,500. - Now, for the part that I didn't know about until I got my quote. I can get TWO designs if I order 500, so I'd be getting 250 of two separate designs. To make that easier, I figured I can get SHEANA made as well. I had already intended to make her using the same basic design as Darius. So the first stretch tier is to get two designs made. At 500 plushes, the price goes down for each one!
Stretch Goal #2 - $7,650 - Oh and there's a THIRD thing that can be added! They can go from 8" to 10" tall! Argh, they're going to fill up my apartment!! They need to be adopted and given new homes!!
Now for the perks! I am restraining myself, because 1. I am one person and 2. I already have a lot of work I have to do, but if you don't want a plush, there are art options! I may add new perks as it goes along. For Indiegogo, you can select more than one perk by simply doing them one at a time or combine them in one and send me a note at the end of the campaign.
Shipping: Shipping is actually good on Darius (He's light) and to those in the US, included in the price. For shipping outside the US, these are a few quick quotes:
Europe: $9.45
New Zealand: $14
Canada: $7.35
If you are outside the US, deduct $3 from whatever you think the shipping will be. He weighs under 2.07 oz without the poly bag. He'll be under 3 for the 8" one. Shipping will be a little tricky, but I gave a little leeway in the numbers for it.
Everything above what I need is going into the monthly Cyantian.net tally and most of it will be used for medical expenses. We have a lot of them this year.
